Bath Chairs
A bath chair or folding shower seat provides a safe stable seating surface in the bath or shower. They are effective at helping to prevent fatigue and dangerous falls. They are available in a variety of forms, you can choose an adjustable bath chair or one for a variety of height and weight capacities. Hygienic bath and shower seats feature a cut-out in the seat, like a commode, to facilitate personal care.
Bath Boards
Bath boards are similar in function to bath seats but are designed to span the width of a regular tub. A bath board with handle or even portable bath board setups can also be used with transfer aids in getting in and out of the tub. They may have a mechanism to affix them in place. Bath boards are not height adjustable as they rest on the sides of the tub.
